I have experience working with depression, anxiety, and mood diagnoses, as well as life transitions and adjustment disorders. I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, mothers, and the Spanish-speaking community.
I have experiences in working with detainees previously held in detention centers and provide a holistic cultural mental health services for immigrants and refugees. Additionally, I have experience working with Latino families in adjusting to a new country and breaking down generational patterns and traumas. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy.

My clinical training included a one year internship at Victory Family Counseling in Concord, North Carolina. Additionally, I have worked for over five years as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and child abuse. I specialize in working with immigrants and refugees previously held in detention centers, acculturation, depression, anxiety, and trauma diagnosis. My approach involves providing children, teens, and adults with holistic cultural mental health services combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. I am also trained in conducting psychosocial assessments for immigration cases.
